How to use🥾

1. Reserve Hiking Gear!

Reservations can be made through the website or rented on the site on the day of use.
However, it is recommended to make a reservation through the website in advance as rental items may be out of stock.
 

2. Visit the Center!

Visit ‘Seoul Hiking Tourism Center’ on the date of use.

 

3. Check the personal information

Check the personal information through a passport or residence card.

 

4. Change clothes or hiking gear!

After receiving the prepared items, change clothes and store personal items. 

 

5. Hike Bukhansan Mountain safely.

6. Return the items!

After use, return the items to the center by 4:30PM.

 

Rental items are managed cleanly after one-time use, through washing, sterilization, and disinfection process.

Rules

  • Hiking gears can be picked up at the Seoul Hiking Tourism Center.

  • Reservation confirmation email will be sent when your reservation is confirmed.

  • Please make sure to bring your ID card (Passport or ARC) and note that rental may be restricted in case of unknown reference.

  • To prevent loss/damage, a copy of ID card can be kept in the center.

  • This rental service is for foreigners only and is restricted to Koreans.

  • If you are confirmed to be Korean on the spot, you cannot use the service, but also refunds are not allowed.

  • Water bottles, extra clothes, towels, etc. are not provided, so please bring them individually.

Precautions

  • The rental products are valuable assets of the Hiking Tourism Center. Please participate in creating safe and clean rental culture.

  • Rental products are assumed to be returned in their existing conditions, and in the event of loss/damage, repurchase or A/S costs may be charged.

  • Returns can be made during designated return hours, and penalties may arise for non-return within return hours.

  • All leisure products are not insured, and accidents caused by your own negligence are your own responsibility.

  • We are not responsible for all accidents and penalties that occur during rental (hiking). If you are concerned about a safety accident, we recommend you to sign up for traveler's insurance or mountain insurance individually.

  • It is prohibited from using our products for the purpose of lending, transfer, collateral, decomposition, etc. to a third party, and all responsibilities arising from the prohibited act are borne by the person.

Cancellation Policy

  • One day before use: Cancellation possible (100% refund)

  • Date of use: Unable to cancel (0% refund)

  • All reasons (disease, change of mind, bad weather, etc.) except access control to Bukhansan Mountain cannot be refunded

  • How to cancel a reservation 

  • Reservation confirmation email > Click on ‘Check your booking list’ > Click on ‘Cancel my booking’ > Cancel

  • Depending on the circumstances of the credit card company, it may take up to 3 weeks for the final refund.
